Project Barberry - Kitchen
There is a lot to say about this kitchen renovation in Virginia Beach. The greatest statement is the unorthodox layout and of course the color combinations that were used. The back-white-grey backsplash and the Luna Pearl granite complement each other beautifully, contrasting to the dark wood cover panels EKESTAD by IKEA. The moon lights in the ceiling and the work lights (UTRUSTA by IKEA) help to see the beauty in the materials that were used.

Project Good Hope - Kitchen
“Total transformation” is what defines this kitchen in a single family home close to Virginia Beach downtown. Before this kitchen had soffits, no island and had a U-shape layout. The Virginia Kitchens team designed the new layout, using IKEA’s Home Planner 3D Tool. The new layout is L-shape, with no soffits and large island with overhang. This opens up the space, allows to hang 40-inch high wall cabinets (not, 30-inch high) and ultimately creates a more modern look.

Project Pulaski - Kitchen
Kitchens come in many sizes and shapes. This particular kitchen features two 45-degree angles, which are not as rare as many people think. From design and installation point of view, those kitchens present a challenge, but the end-of-the-day result is a pleasing design and trendy look. For this project, Virginia Kitchens measured and designed the kitchen based on the previous kitchen layout in the house, with modifications such as:

Who said that the white appliances are giving way to stainless steel? This fabulous IKEA kitchen located in Virginia Beach is made of off-white GRIMSLOV style cabinets, all white appliances, complemented by Giallo Ornamental granite counter top and backsplash. The base cabinets are standard 24 inch deep and the wall cabinets are 15 inches deep, unlike most other US made cabinets that are only 12 inches deep. This way the owner has more storage space without compromising on quality or price.

Yet, another small but well planned IKEA kitchen, which makes the best use of the space to bring versatility and functionality to its owner. For this project we assembled and installed all kitchen cabinets and appliance. The project required multiple customizations because of existing gas pipes and the low soffits, but the final result is this great looking kitchen with VEDDINGE and FORBATRA cover panels, doors and draw fronts.
