When we moved I did not hesitate to call Virginia Kitchens again to remodel our new kitchen. We used them a few years back to remodel the kitchen in our townhouse and it was an awesome experience. Georgi and his crew are professional and courteous. They completely gutted our kitchen, including taking out soffits. His crew took care of the plumbing, drywall, flooring, tile setting, paint, cabinet installation, counter top installation, electrical work and always cleaned up before they left and worked full days. They finished ON TIME and ON BUDGET and the work was impeccable. Georgi communicated with us the whole way. He was responsive and we always knew what was going on at all times. He made us feel like we were his only clients (even though he had several jobs going). I cannot recommend Virginia Kitchens enough!

What a FANTASTIC niche small business company! After working with three kitchen design companies (including a Big Box store) and being dissatisfied with the project cost, we were fortunate to discover Neil, Georgi and their amazing team through a Google search. Within 24 hours of contacting Neil, he arrived with his laptop, years of Ikea design and installation experience and a desire to listen to our ideas and offer his own. We were presented with a design package, total cost and a proposed installation schedule. Our project was the result of major water damage so we needed significant construction, electrical and plumbing work done before our cabinets could be installed. Neil performed the General Contractor functions of scheduling, oversight and management of this additional work WITHOUT additional overhead cost. According to Neil, it's in his best interest to hire quality workers to prepare the kitchen properly in order to successfully execute his kitchen installation. From start to finish, Neil, Georgi and their team of professionals did exactly what they promised. Great communicators. On time, on budget, exceptional quality and attention to detail. No surprises. We HIGHLY recommend this great company.

Neil & Georgi were fantastic to work with on our kitchen renovation. They both are very responsive, knowledgeable and have excellent recommendations based on their design and installation experience. The advantage in working with them over the IKEA instore planners is they have the practical experience that instore planners just cant provide. Just looking at our initial plan Georgi and Niel found an error with the corner cabinet and farm house sink. The software allows it but in the real world the door would not fully open to allow the lazy susan to fully extend due to the cabinet door hitting the apron of the sink. This subtle detail and awareness is invaluable. This would have not only been disappointing to find out later but also costly in time and money. The know IKEA better than IKEA knows themselves. If you dont live in Hampton Roads where their office is located dont worry as they service numerous markets including Richmond where I am located. On a final note their countertop fabrication and turnaround is significantly faster than others we inquired and are very reasonably priced. Overall the whole process was very easy & timely and I highly recommend them from start to finish.

Our kitchen is beautiful! Neil and Georgi helped our vision come to life. They were knowledgeable, gave good suggestions and were excellent communicators. I’d recommend them in a second!

We could not be MORE pleased with the level of quality and delivery that Neil and his team performed on our kitchen! He answered every single email I sent incredibly quickly, he was prompt to every meeting we scheduled, and had the kitchen installed in the agreed upon timeline! This type of customer care is almost non-existent in this day and age! The other aspect that made Virginia Kitchens so amazing to work with was their transparency. I never wondered what charge was what or where my money was going. Neil was forthright in his communications in everything and it made for an incredibly easy kitchen remodel!

Georgi and Neil did a great job! They did exactly what they said they would do on time and at the agreed upon cost. Would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

We highly recommend them for any size kitchen remodel project. Georgi showed up after a friend recommended Virginia Kitchens, and designed our entire kitchen project down to the handles we ended up choosing. We had to remove a few walls and there were no adjustments to the cabinet order once parts were on hand.
They finished ahead of the proposed project timeline, even though Georgi and Neil were managing multiple projects at once, with little to no rework required on any of the finishing.
There were natural hiccups with the demolition of the kitchen walls and the relocating of a few water lines, but nothing added to the cost of the project, and we amazingly stayed right on budget. I will use them for any kitchen install in the future.

Georgi and Neil were awesome! I went to Ikea to work with a designer and order cabinets. I ordered them and when over 150 boxes arrived I panicked. IKEA recommended Virginia Kitchens and I called. Georgi immediate came out and gave me a quote. The quote was excellent and he worked with me on times when I could be available.
They were right on time and they communicated all details and we had some snags because of the horrible way my house was constructed and they let me know what was happening and what they could do to make it right, they cared as much as I did about the final outcome, and it was perfect. I needed a temporary countertop and sink for the holidays and we saved my old countertop and they cut it to temporarily work for me. I am ordering granite countertops and sink from them and can’t wait for it to be finished. I highly recommend Virginia Kitchens and guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Virginia Kitchens LLC extended our current kitchen by adding IKEA cabinets, IKEA lighting, quartz countertops, and a backsplash through out the kitchen. We are very satisfied with the workmanship and the professionalism of this company. Detailed plans were provided as well as a spreadsheet detailing costs of labor and materials. Very responsive to customer’s concerns and/or comments. Great attention to detail and cost conscious. Highly recommend.

I was in Texas building an IKEA kitchen in Cape Charles, and quickly realized I couldn’t do this on my own. In stepped Neil and Georgi. Their excellence shown in every aspect – design, communication, attention to detail, work ethic, patience, installation, etc., etc. They cared as much as I did about the final outcome, and it was perfect. They also installed backsplash and countertops in both kitchen and bathrooms flawlessly, and worked creatively rebuilding IKEA panels to solve space issues. IKEA Kitchens VA helped us open our sunny diningroom into our dark and cramped kitchen, creating a wide open and bright space. They were prompt and friendly in all communications, and quick to offer design and construction suggestions to improve our design and save our budget. All subcontractors were professional and friendly. And most importantly, we love our new kitchen!

From design to installation, Georgi and Neil were a joy to work with. Their knowledge of IKEA products, organizational and design suggestions, and installation abilities are unparalleled! In a little over 2 weeks we went from at standard 1977 kitchen to a custom, modern kitchen - compare that timeline with any other contractors you've ever hired!

They both were kind and considerate of our family's needs while working in the house (like the noise level, dust & trash, etc) and we felt totally at ease leaving them here to work while we were out.

The price point is very reasonable; especially considering all the work they do and/or have contacts for!

We highly recommend them to everyone and are delighted to show off their work to our friends and family. My only regret is they only do kitchens ... I have a bathroom I'd love them to redesign and install!

Neil and Georgi did our kitchen renovation from demo and soffit removal to cabinets, countertops, and backsplash installation. They were professional and neat. Because they were such good communicators, we were able to trust them to do the project from afar, ahead of our move back to the area. They helped us immensly with the suppliers like Semihandmade. I am fascinated by the service that Virginia Kitchens delivered throughout the whole process of converting our old kitchen space into the new modern centerpiece of my house.

From the very first meeting, I was impressed with Georgi’s professionalism and knowledge of IKEA’s products. The team had great recommendations how to utilize in the best possible way the space that we had. Georgi was very patient going back and forth on the design, making the exact corrections that me and my wife desired, and later to assemble and install the kitchen. I will also mention the fact that Virginia Kitchens gave me a fantastic deal on the granite top. I was also able to go to the warehouse and pick the slab that later was used to cut the counter top pieces. All in all, the whole kitchen remodeling process seemed like a breeze! The installation team worked very professionally - they did everything in a timely manner and with great attention to detail. Everything was done to our satisfaction!

The IKEA installation team of Neil and George is highly professional and knowledgeable. They are able to help with the design, adding insight to the kitchen's workability. Importantly, they pay attention to detail and their workmanship is superior. Also, they were prompt and on schedule. It was a pleasure having them as part of my upgrade team. I hired Virginia Kitchens to install my IKEA kitchen and what a great choose. From design to finish they were in constant communication. I am so glad I decided to give them the job when my order had arrived and it was 146 boxes. But on the first day they sorted through the boxes and had everything organized and within an hour had cabinets already built. I am so happy the way the kitchen turned out and thank Virginia Kitchens for all the hard work.
