This kitchen is a classic example of a traditional style kitchen built in 2019: white cabinets and white porcelain subway tiles contracted with grey grout lines, grey quartz counter top and grey (distressed wood color) luxury vinyl planks. Another staple of this modernized read of the traditional kitchen are the black steel appliances and BREDSJÖN undermount stainless steel sink with apron front. The new kitchen feels very spacious and has a plenty of storage.

Total Transformation! This is the motto that the client had in mind when we started this project. The original kitchen was L-shape with a dry wall pantry. Our team removed a wall to create a large space combining the former kitchen and dining rooms. The wall was load-bearing so we installed a support beam. The project also included removal of the dry wall pantry and the soffits.

This kitchen is where traditional kitchen designs meets IKEA. This almost vintage look is achieved by combining the new shaker style IKEA doors Grimslov brown with timeless granite (Fantasy Brown), Luxury Vinyl Planks flooring and many little details such as the wine rack, wine cooler, vintage pendant lights, LED can lights, OMLOPP LED lights under the cabinets and inside the glass door cabinets, 12-inch overhang for the bar, etc.

This is a vintage kitchen at its best, combined with IKEA’s transitional style shaker doors. In the heart of Williamsburg, VA we helped to create with marvel: cabinets, appliances, counter top and backsplash. The refrigerator is a vintage SMEG and the oven is a whopping 48-inch white Smeg.

If there is a kitchen that tops all contemporary designs that we have done so far, it must be this one. In Virginia Beach, near the water, Virginia Kitchens worked closely with the client to design and execute this marvel that combines IKEA’s VOXTORP Matt White door, with KUNGSBACKA’s anthracite black doors and then include the KALVIA accent door over the bar area, right next to a Spanish vintage chandelier that has identical design patterns.

We were lucky to participate in the renovation of this traditional home in Central Richmond, Virginia, near the University of Richmond. We were able to combine the traditional features of the home with the modern IKEA cabinets.

This marvellous kitchen that is in Henrico, near Short Pump, Richmond, can be a benchmark for what a modern kitchen may look like. It has IKEA frames and IKEA-made drawers and hinges. The doors, drawer fronts, cover panels, filler, crown molding and decorative strip are manufactured by a company in California, Semihandmade, specialized in the design and production of parts that work around the IKEA kitchen system.

This kitchen is built with white IKEA frames, anthracite black KUNGSBACKA doors, white quartz counter tops, and white porcelain subway tiles. The client had a vision to top this with black stainless steel appliances and bronze light fixtures and handles that really stand out.

This house in West Richmond just got a brand new IKEA kitchen with some major tweaks and upgrades. The kitchen is planned and designed by the client and our main designer. This is a rare success story of how combined efforts result in synergy.
